The victim, a store owner, was driving near Oregon Avenue and 19th Street when a blue Chevrolet pickup truck "tapped the rear of his car," authorities said.

He got out of his vehicle and three men emerged from the Chevy. One of them placed the victim in a headlock while another went into his car and stole the bag containing the cash, according to investigators.

The trio fled south down 19th Street in their truck, authorities said. The victim was not injured.

South Detectives are investigating, PPD added.
